Top questions you may have for me when learning more about doulas.

Will you replace my partner during birth??

No, doulas dont replace the part your partner plays during birth. We help with questions you/your partner may have, or give partners direction on ways to be involved in birthing if they would like.

Do you perform medical procedures like the hospitals?

Abosultely not. That is outside the scope of practice. Doulas do not perform medical procedures such as cervical checks, iv administration, epidurals, or anything of that sort.

How would a doula benefit me?

Doulas are like bridges between a birthing mother and the others in her birthing environment. We are there to get things as close as possible to your plan and step in if you arent being heard in the room especially in a hospital setting.

Do you accept insurance?

At this time I do not accept insurance. Hopefully I will in the future, but I do payment plans if necessary.
